Our Mission
Our mission at Maranatha Farms Inc is to help families affected by Alzheimer's. Have a place to visit and share their family heritage in a supportive atmosphere. We hope to provide an interesting array of activities for all generations.
Based on the time frame between 1950 and 1970 farm life. Families and caregivers will have an opportunity to join in on the harvest process as well as preserve produce from our large garden.
Alzheimer's patients can just sit and watch the chickens or gather eggs like they did as kids. They can also partake in going duck hunting or just sit and bird watch. This is giving the Alzheimer's families a chance to do the things that they use to do, which and hopefully spark memories of their heritage to share.
